Open Wallet → Deposit → GCash

Log in → Wallet → Deposit → GCash. Confirm the merchant name on the payment screen before you authorize in the GCash app.

If the merchant line looks generic or personal, cancel. Real cashier flows show a merchant-style destination, not a random personal GCash number pasted in chat.

Stay inside the SG8 tab until the GCash app opens. Screenshots of QR codes forwarded from strangers are a common swap scam.

Enter the exact amount

Type the figure SG8 shows. Rounding up or down is a common reason deposits stay pending or fail to map to your ticket.

Start with a small test amount you can afford to lose while you confirm credit speed. Scale up only after the first peso lands.

If the cashier shows a minimum floor, do not type below it. Undersized tickets often never credit and waste support time.

Pay in GCash and wait

Finish in the GCash app, then return to SG8 and refresh Wallet once. Screenshot the GCash reference until the balance updates.

If GCash debited and SG8 is still zero, wait 5–10 minutes and refresh again. Do not send a second deposit on top of a pending one.

Check GCash history for success vs failed. A failed GCash leg means you should not open Maya “just in case” until you know the first rail status.

When GCash blocks you — Maya backup

Hit a daily GCash limit or stuck pending debit? Switch to Maya on the same SG8 wallet. Do not stack GCash and Maya in the same hour.

Maya uses the same exact-amount and receipt rules. Keep one rail active until credit posts, then decide if you need more funds.

For Maya-only tips, see the short Maya backup guide — the full cashier discipline still lives on this GCash page.

Support packet if credit never arrives

Prepare: GCash reference, amount, time, and a screenshot of SG8 Wallet. Contact support once with that packet — not three chat apps with three stories.

Avoid “agents” who ask you to send GCash to a personal number to “force credit.” That is a recovery scam pattern.

If support asks for a selfie or ID, use the in-app channel. Do not upload KYC files into a Telegram DM that started after a failed deposit.
